Powerware Awarded UDIQ Air Force Contract

Powerware Corp. (Raleigh, NC) has been awarded a seven-year indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity (IDIQ) contract by the US Air Force's Air Logistics Center (ALC, Hill AFB, UT). The seven-year IDIQ contract has an estimated cumulative value of $76.0 million.

Under the terms of the contract, Powerware will provide power reliability products and complete turn-key services, including engineering, project management, system integration, installation, training and on-site maintenance services. Products will include online, double-conversion UPSs ranging in size from 125kVA to 1,000kVA; ancillary electrical equipment; and spare parts.
