Plug Power's net loss for the second quarter ended June 30, 2002, was $12.2 million, or $0.24 per share, compared to $18.3 million, or $0.41 per share, for the same period last year. Year-to-date, the net loss was $23.8 million, or $0.47 per share, compared to a loss of $37.3 million, or $0.85 per share, in 2001.
