Peregrine Semiconductor Corp. (San Diego, CA), a supplier of advanced RF CMOS integrated circuits, announced the appointment of Philip Chapman as Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. Prior to joining Peregrine, Chapman served initially as CFO and, later, as president and CEO of OMM Inc., an optical switch component company in San Diego. Before OMM, Chapman served for eight years as CFO of Microchip Technology Inc., where he was responsible for guiding the company through its successful initial public offering.
