ON Semiconductor Unveils Its Advanced Technology Development Center

ON Semiconductor (Phoenix, AZ) unveiled its advanced technology development center located at the company's headquarters. The center was established as a cornerstone of the company's strategy to expand its portfolio of application-specific standard product semiconductors. ON Semiconductor plans to use the resulting advanced technologies and processes to introduce new families of high-performance ICs. The center will also serve as the focal point for the company's broadband development teams as well as house their new laboratory facilities.

“The opening of the broadband technology center is a continuation of our commitment to maintain and expand a leadership position in the broadband market," commented Frans van Wijk, vice president and general manager of the broadband business group at On Semiconductor. “We are anticipating our customers' needs by developing technologies that enable the design of innovative broadband ICs that will help our customers bring their products to market faster."
