Nexcon Opens Battery Production Base in Shanghai

Nexcon Technology Inc. (South Korea) has opened a battery production base in Shanghai, China, called Shanghai Nexcon Electronic Co. Ltd. (China). The new company is engaged in the research and production of lithium-ion batteries, test instruments and electronic components for use in mobile phones, PDAs, laptops and automobile batteries.

According to Li Chenglong, general manager, they have installed three BSU production lines and a speed tester to reach a monthly capacity of three million units and an annual sales value of $12.1 million.
