April 22, 2014 by Jeff Shepard

Shanghai MOONS' Industries has appointed Arrow Electronics as its worldwide distributor to promote MOONS' LED drivers and control products. According to the cooperation agreement, Arrow will help to promote MOONS' LED drivers and intelligent lighting control systems through its distribution network. The cooperation will boost sales of MOONS' products in overseas markets comprehensively and effectively; in addition, MOONS' complete product lines and leading lighting management solutions will provide Arrow's customers with more competitive and application-care products, and satisfy the market demand in a broader range.

Eric Williams, vice president Global Lighting, Arrow Electronics, said: “This is a collaboration that has great potential for both companies. Adding Moons’ products to our existing lighting portfolio will offer customers wide access to some of the best lighting solutions available today.” The Arrow European lighting team, known for its specialist design-in support and ability to deliver end-to-end solutions to manufacturers, is already well acquainted with Moons’ products.

Mr. Justin Chang also said that ‘Arrow is a leading electronic component distributor in the world. The cooperation with Arrow will not only accelerate the steps of MOONS’ LED driver and control product lines into the global market, but also lay a solid foundation for our following cooperation with Arrow in MOONS’ other product lines.’

In addition, Shanghai MOONS’ recently announced its Japan subsidiary’s establishment in Shin-Yokohama near Tokyo Bay in Japan. This is the fourth overseas subsidiary of MOONS’ and is expected to become an important milestone in MOONS’ development history. During recent years, MOON’ has achieved positive results in the exploration of Japan market. Facing stringent requirements toward technical standard and manufacturing process from Japanese customers as well as strong competition from Japan domestic market, MOONS’ Japan subsidiary opened at the right moment. It’s aiming at offering face-to-face technical support and efficient value-added services.
