Maxim Integrated Introduces a Mobile App for Analog IC Information

September 09, 2020 by Stephanie Leonida

Maxim Integrated releases a new app that provides systems engineers with a large repository of resources centered around its range of high-performance integrated circuits.

The US-based Maxim Integrated designs, manufactures and sells innovative and high-performance analog and mixed-signal products and technologies. Maxim develops integrated circuits (ICs) for a number of markets including communications, automotive, consumer, industrial, and computing markets.

Recently, the company announced the release of its new Essential Analog mobile app. The app provides customers with quick and easy access to Maxim’s smart Essential Analog ICs, according to a Maxim press release.

Users can also use the app as an informative resource for learning about the latest technologies, design tools, and ICs from Maxim.

This repository is available for both iOS and Android and enables users to access the information they need quickly. As non-traditional work settings become commonplace due to the COVID-19 pandemic, engineers can use this app anywhere.

With the mobile app, the Smart Selector’s sliders and dropdowns can be used to search for and select suitable parts for any given system, even when offline. Users can also benefit from the availability of application notes, blogs, and training videos created by leading experts.

The app provides an ideal learning environment where evaluation kits can be explored, and details of any relevant event can be viewed to allow users to keep up-to-date with the latest technology news.

Maxim’s new app also helps users keep track of parts they might order again and file away technical information relevant to their individual projects.

The app also allows users to view datasheets, Maxim’s website, cross-reference searches, and more. To plan, design, and create a new system, the Essential Analog Toolkit can also be explored by engineers, with a free box of ICs available.

From the toolkit, engineers can get their hands on ICs from categories including low noise, low power, multi-channel, high accuracy, high resolution, and high speed. Maxim’s reliable connectivity ICs are among those available and come with seamless and secure data transfer.

These wireless and wired communications are enabled over standards using RS-485, RS-232, CAN, and ISM radio. Efficient power, precision measurement, and robust protection ICs are also available through the toolkit.
