Linear Technology & Power-One Announce Digital Power Technology License

Linear Technology Corp. and Power-One, Inc. announced their agreement to enter into a non-exclusive Field of Use license for Linear Technology under Power-One’s digital power technology patents. The license does not extend to stand-alone power supplies using Linear Technology products.

"This agreement is consistent with our goal to actively monetize our intellectual property, while providing technologically advanced solutions to our partners and customers."

The Z-One digital power technology is used in a range of point-of-load (POL) dc-dc converters.
