NEC America announced that Kunitomo Matsuoka, Associate Senior Vice President of NEC Corp. (Tokyo, Japan), has been appointed President of NEC America, effective immediately. NEC America is a leading provider of innovative communications products, solutions and services that has served the carrier, enterprise and wireless market sectors for more than 40 years.
Matsuoka, an executive with more than 30 years of international business experience and expertise in telecommunications, will be succeeding Hirofumi Okuyama, who has held dual presidency roles for both NEC USA Inc., a holding company, and NEC America since April 2003. Okuyama will remain as president of NEC USA.
