Johnson Controls Names Hermann Schonau Manager of Inspira Battery Technology

Johnson Controls Inc. (Milwaukee, WI) recently announced that Hermann Schonau has been named manager of Inspira battery technology. Inspira is an enabling technology for 42V architectures.

Schonau will work directly with European automotive OEMs and electronic system integrators to introduce Inspira technology in 12V, 42V and higher-voltage HEVs and fuel cell applications.

Prior to joining Johnson Controls, Schonau was head of systems integration at Grundl and Hoffman GmbH, a subsidiary of Continental-ISAD.
