Hydrogenics CFO Gary Brandt to Step Down

February 22, 2005 by Jeff Shepard

Hydrogenics Corp. (Toronto, Canada), a designer and manufacturer of fuel cell technology, announced that Chief Financial Officer Gary Brandt will step down from his post at the end of March 2005. Brandt is leaving the company to "pursue other career opportunities" after overseeing Hydrogenics' integration with Stuart Energy Systems, which it bought in a $155-million acquisition completed last month with which Brandt was instrumental in.

Brandt will stay at the company until March 31, 2005, to help with the transition and complete audited consolidated financial statements for 2004. The company has launched a search for a replacement.

"I'm comfortable making this move because of the progress of the integration with Stuart Energy, and the strength of the management team. I have tremendous respect for Pierre and his leadership, and I have every confidence in the future success of the company," Brandt said.
