EE Power Welcomes Barbara Vergetis Lundin as Editor-in-Chief

April 21, 2022 by Dale Wilson

Power engineering industry publishing leader, Barbara Vergetis Lundin, joins EE Power as the new Editor-in-Chief.

Barbara Vergetis Lundin comes to EETech from Informa, bringing a background of 20+ years working with energy-related content and an impressive record for branding and refreshing products to attract new audiences. Lundin’s experience includes starting an energy portal for Financial Times Energy, her work for Fierce/Questex’s Energy Group, and, most recently, four years as Content Director for Informa’s Design News and one year as Content Director for Battery Technology.

"Anytime you are able to get someone with Barbara's experience and industry savvy to join your team, you jump at the opportunity," said Dale Wilson, EETech Media's Director of Engineering and Content. "As we invest in and grow EE Power, Barbara will be leading the way in defining our new direction, expanding our content, and providing quality material for our engineering audience."

Lundin expands the growing editorial team and plans to continue that growth in the near future with the addition of a technical editor and/or a power electronics engineer. From there, Lundin plans a refresh for EE Power, a digital publication focusing on power electronics, to include generation, distribution, and storage.

Lundin says she was attracted to EETech Media by its technology-forward nature and close-knit work culture.
