EaglePicher Technologies Names New Director of Lithium Ion and Battery Charger Sales

EaglePicher Technologies, LLC announced that David Roller has joined the company as Director of Sales, Lithium-ion Batteries and Battery Charger business. In this position, Roller will direct the sales activities for the lithium-ion battery and battery charger divisions.

EaglePicher Technologies’ lithium-ion business has achieved significant growth in recent years, marked by a new 24,000 square foot, state-of-the-art facility in Joplin, Missouri. The new facility develops lithium-ion cells and batteries for military, aircraft, railcar, and a variety of other high-end industrial applications. The company’s battery charger division is positioned for growth as it expands its capabilities for military and commercial aviation applications including a new universal and portable charger with pulse charging capabilities.

Roller joins EaglePicher Technologies with more than 18 years of sales, marketing and program management experience in the defense and space industries. Most recently, he was director of defense sales at Saft America. Before joining Saft America, Roller spent 15 years in marketing and technical positions of increasing responsibility at Alliant Techsystems, Inc. (formerly Honeywell Defense Systems).
