David Peet Joins MTI MicroFuel Cells BOD

MTI MicroFuel Cells Inc. (Albany, NY) announced that David Peet, global director of DuPont Fuel Cells, has joined its board of directors. MTI Micro, a subsidiary of Mechanical Technology Inc. (Albany, NY), plans to commercialize direct-methanol micro fuel cells as a future power source for portable electronics in the commercial and military markets.

"DuPont™ Nafion® membrane technology has helped pioneer the development of fuel cells," said Dale Church, chairman and CEO of Mechanical Technology and chairman of the MTI Micro board. "David will bring both business leadership and technical expertise to the MTI Micro board, and we are very pleased to have him as a member."
