David Bender Appointed President of Crane Electronics Group

Crane Co. has announced the appointment of David Bender as President of the Electronics Group of Crane Aerospace & Electronics. In this capacity, Bender is responsible for Electronics Group product and service solutions, including power, microwave, microelectronics and electronics manufacturing services. He will be located in Redmond, Washington.

Before joining Crane Aerospace & Electronics, Bender served at Aerojet General Corp., a division of GenCorp, where his most recent role was Vice President of Operations. Prior to that, he worked in various roles, including assignments in engineering, defense and armaments, automotive, manufacturing, business development and quality. He also has experience in functional leadership and implementation of Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma Operational Excellence at all of the major locations within GenCorp.

Bender graduated from California State University, Long Beach, with a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering. He received his Masters degree in Management from Claremont University.
