September 12, 1999 by Jeff Shepard

Cooper Electronic Technologies (Boynton Beach, FL) has published a 96-page technical design guide to its Coiltronics brand of inductors and transformers.

The new guide covers all of the company's products from 1.2mm dc/dc converter output inductors for cellular phones and PDAs to high-current, high energy-density inductors for GHz-speed microprocessors. The guide has detailed applications and specifications for each product line, as well as a custom magnetics design form with step-by-step guidelines to determine the proper size and efficiency of the SMT component needed for a specific application. More than 700 different part numbers are listed.

Interested parties may receive the guide free from Cooper's website.
