International Rectifier Corp. (IR) has launched a Certified Design Partner Program dedicated to providing its expanding dc-dc power management customer base with extended technical resources to support their design needs. Through the new program, customers designing with IR's industry leading dc-dc digital solutions will have access to the extensive engineering capabilities of ADI Engineering and HCL Technologies whose expertise in embedded and enterprise systems can help customers deliver fast time-to-market systems. IR plans a controlled expansion of this partner program throughout 2014 focusing on new digital power partners as well as partners in other key technology sectors.

IR's digital multiphase pulse width modulation (pwm) controllers, dc-dc point-of-load (POL) portfolio and PowIRstage® technology deliver high-density, high-efficiency solutions to customers supporting processors, Application-Specific Integrated Circuits (ASICs), Field-Programmable Gate Array (FPGA), System on Chip (SoCs) and the many voltage rails in associated systems. IR’s technology has been adopted by leading OEMs and ODM’s worldwide. With demand for IR’s solutions rapidly expanding to the networking, storage and communications markets, partnering with leading hardware platform engineering companies offers many new and existing customers a convenient way to access this technology.

“With our proven success with Tier 1 customers, IR’s Certified Design Partner Program aims to support our expanding customer base with access to more engineering resources and technical know-how to help them bring their designs to market faster and cost efficiently, fully leveraging IR’s innovative energy-efficient dc-dc power management technologies and solutions,” said Deepak Savadatti, Vice President and General Manager, IR’s Enterprise Power Business Unit.
