Catalytica Energy Opens New Arizona Facility

Catalytica Energy Systems Inc. (Mountain View, CA) announced the opening of its new facility in Gilbert, AZ. Craig

Kitchen, president and CEO of Catalytica Energy Systems, was present for the ceremony.

The new 43,500sqft Gilbert facility was built to house various administrative functions and engineering activities, as well as accommodate the company's commercial manufacturing operation, which is

scheduled to come on-line next year. The company's Mountain View site will continue to serve as its research and development

center and as a secondary manufacturing operation.

Kitchen stated, "This new facility provides us with the capacity and flexibility to support our growth and our commitment to further the development and commercialization

of our Xonon Cool Combustion system and other innovative clean energy technologies. We are proud to begin operations in Gilbert and look forward to growing our business here and making a positive impact on the greater

Phoenix and Arizona economies."
