Capstone Turbine Corp. (Chatsworth, CA), a leading microturbine power systems manufacturer, implemented several changes in the leadership of its sales, marketing, engineering and operations functions. Mike Redmond was appointed Senior Vice-President of Engineering and Operations. Redmond was most recently Vice-President of research and development at Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories, a manufacturer of digital products for electric utility and industrial companies.
John Fink III was named to the position of Senior Vice-President of Sales and Marketing. His professional career in the leadership of sales and marketing functions spans executive-level positions with several renowned corporations, including Daimler-Benz, AEG-Westinghouse and York International. Sharon Faltemier, who has served as Vice-President of Human Resources with divisions at Northrop Grumman-Litton and at Boeing, is now Capstone's Vice President of Human Resources.
