California Micro Devices Reports Q3 Guidance

California Micro Devices Corp. (Milpitas, CA) disclosed the financial outlook for its third fiscal quarter of 2003, which ends December 31, 2002. Revenue is expected to be between $11.3 and $11.9 million, up from $10.8 million in the prior quarter and $7.0 million in the same quarter a year ago. The company also expects net earnings per share to be between a loss of $0.01 and a profit of $0.01, an improvement from the $0.09 net loss reported in the prior quarter and the $0.79 net loss reported a year ago.

"We expect to see continued revenue growth, gross margin improvement and bottom line improvement this quarter, as we have for the past three quarters," said Robert Dickinson, president and CEO. "The steady improvement in our financial performance, together with the strong design win momentum we have generated, attest to the soundness of the strategy we put in place over a year ago and have been successfully executing."
