Bluetooth Speakers with Wireless Charging

September 21, 2015 by Jeff Shepard

SoundBot II, a wireless Bluetooth portable audio speaker from SoundBot, is raising the bar for multi-media Bluetooth speakers in the market with Qi standard wireless charging. Based in the City of Industry, California, the team who designed SoundBot II sees the potential in wireless charging for portable speakers. "How we charge speakers has always been the old school cable-to-port; but with wireless charging, the process is made more convenient than ever. You can just drop and charge, or pick up and go," says James, a senior executive of SoundBot II team. "This will make portable speakers even more 'portable.'"

SoundBot II is universally compatible with existing Qi chargers in the market. Whether it's the latest Samsung Qi standard charger on TV commercials, a new Qi-Enabled furniture from IKEA, a Qi equipped Audi luxury car, a Nokia charging pad that was manufactured years ago, a Google Nexus smartphone inductive charger, or any other Qi compliant chargers, they are all compatible with SoundBot II and are able to charge it wirelessly.

"Our goal is to develop a series of Qi compatible devices which can fully realize the benefits the technology offers," James expresses the company's visionary goal. The team has launched SoundBot II on Kickstarter and is looking for the support of all music lovers worldwide. To find out more about the product, please visit the link below.
