ANADIGICS Achieves Samsung Eco-Partnership Certification

May 10, 2005 by Jeff Shepard

ANADIGICS Inc. (Warren, NJ), a supplier of wireless and broadband solutions, announced that it has achieved certification in Samsung Electronics’ Eco-Partnership Certification program, which is part of Samsung's Green Procurement System that was created in 2001 to comply with environmental regulations, promote products with environmental quality and produce products with lower environmental load.

To achieve certification in the program, ANADIGICS successfully completed a rigorous Green Procurement Audit conducted by Samsung Electronics. The audit reviewed ANADIGICS’ environmental management system, manufacturing processes and product composition.

"We are proud to be one of the first power amplifier suppliers in the world to receive Eco-Partnership certification by Samsung Electronics," stated ANADIGICS Vice President of Operations David Coller. "ANADIGICS remains a leader in environmental responsibility and product quality, further exemplified by our recent ISO 14001:1996 certification. These certifications, coupled with our continued progress toward achieving full product portfolio compliance with the European Union's Restriction of Hazardous Substances directive in advance of the 2006 implementation, position ANADIGICS to exceed the environmental and quality requirements of our customers."
