Yageo Intros 500-Layer Multilayer Ceramic Capacitors

Yageo Corp. (Taiwan) announced that it will be introducing its new 500-layer, high-capacitance, multi-layer ceramic capacitors (MLCC) targeted to replace aluminum electrolytic capacitors. The MLCCs will feature capacitance values ranging from 10µF to 20µF and will be available in 1206 packages. Currently, the company is sampling 300-layer MLCCs.
