XPiQ Debuts AED100 Series Power Supplies

XPiQ Inc. (Holliston, MA), a worldwide manufacturer and supplier of ac/dc and dc/dc power supply products, introduced the new AED100 Series of external desktop power supplies, which deliver up to 100W of output power in a compact size. The high-density adapters measure 1.38in x 5.91in x 2.76in. All models offer 4.4W/in³ of high power density. The series accepts a wide range of input voltages from 90Vac to 264Vac and can deliver output voltages ranging from 12Vdc to 48Vdc.

Features of the AED100 include full-load operation up to 50°C, a high efficiency at 85% typical and active power-factor correction to comply with EN61000-3-2,-3. The AED100 also features EMI filtering, which meets conducted and radiated FCC Part 15 and CISPR 22 Class B requirements. The series requires no minimum load requirements and has over-voltage and over-current protection with auto recovery. All models are approved to international safety agency standards and carry the CE Mark LVD.

The AED100 Series is priced as low as $49 for 1,000 pieces. The series is available now in small quantities with production volume available in eight weeks ARO.
