Wall Industries Announces New Medical DC-DC Converter Up To 6W

Wall Industries, Inc. introduced the ME series, a new product line within its medical approved dc-dc converters. These converters have medical (UL/cUL 60601-1) safety approvals and are specially designed to provide ultra high levels of isolation in a 24-pin Dual-in-line package. These converters have a power rating of 6W and operate over 2:1 input voltage ranges of 9~18, 18~36, and 36~75Vdc.

This series also provides regulated single and dual outputs of 5, 12, ±12 and ±15Vdc. The ME series is housed in 1.25 x 0.8 x 0.47" dual in-line package and only weighs 0.63 ounces.

Additional features include low leakage current, over load and short circuit protection, 5600Vdc I/O isolation, and MTBF > 7000,000 hours. The -40 to +55°C operating temperature makes this series suitable for data communication equipment, mobile battery driven equipment, distributed power systems, process/machine control equipment, telecommunications equipment, mixed analog/digital subsystems, computer peripheral systems, and industrial robot systems.

The "ME" series is priced at $21.98 for single output models and $23.65 for dual output models.
