New Products Dec 11, 2001 by Jeff Shepard

TK Power Inc. (Fremont, CA) introduced a new PFC line in the Titanium (Ti) Series, a 300W to 840W redundant power system. The new Ti Series consists of two, three or four low-profile, hot-swappable, high-power density, universal ac input, PFC modules. The new units feature dc outputs of two, four or six voltages with ±5V, ±12V, +3.3V and +5V stand-by.

The PFC units are part of TK Power's next-generation product line that evolved from the standard universal ac and 48Vdc input redundant power solutions. The Titanium Series systems are available in standard and custom sizes with cabling to meet customer requirements. The Ti Series redundant family is ideal for raid, server, networking and telecommunications devices that require 100-percent up-time reliability.

The new Ti Series system with PFC meets the EC Standard EN61000-3-2. The Ti family systems are UL, CuL, TUV, CE and CB certified and meet conducted noise and immunity standards.
