Thinking Electronics Intros TVM0AXXX Varistors

Thinking Electronics Ind. Co. Ltd. (Taiwan) announced the new TVM0AXXX Series of surface-mount varistors, which come in 0402 sizes and are capable of providing ESD protection to mobile phones, DVD players, laptops and STBs.

The devices are available with voltage ratings of 8V to 33V and handle a maximum surge current of 10A. The varistors exhibit a leakage current <20µA (25°C) and have a reference capacitance between 45pF to 230pF (1kHz). The varistors are screened for operation over the -40°C to +125°C temperature range.
