Switronic Ind. Corp. (Taiwan) announced the company's SMD tactile switches, which offer a maximum contact resistance of 100 megohms at an operating force of 250gf (±50gf). The switches are also offered with a 20 megohm contact resistance at an operating force of 130gf (±30gf).
The switches are offered with knob lengths of 1.5mm, 4.3mm and 5mm, with the stems made of metal or plastic. An optional embossing and ground cover feature is provided. The products are rated for operation at 50mA and 12Vdc (resistive load) and a minimum lifespan of 50,000 to 100,000 cycles. They carry safety approvals from UL, CSA, VDE and TUV.
