Staco Energy Products Co. (Dayton, OH) introduced its new TreStar SX Series, a three-phase UPS product that offers protection with diagnostics and circuitry. Its double-conversion design isolates and conditions the power coming into the unit before it is distributed to the protected equipment.
A front panel provides access to 15 critical measurements and 33 different alarms, including measurements made just before and after a power outage. Advanced battery diagnostics provide a high level of protection against overheating, deep discharge and low current damage.
The TreStar SX comes with a standard internal battery pack that provides ample time for equipment shutdown during an outage. With optional external battery cabinets, the runtime can be extended indefinitely. The UPS is suitable for protecting all types of critical industrial and electronic equipment, including workstations, networking and telecom equipment.
