Slim-line DIN-Rail 120W and 150W Power Supplies

New Products Sep 04, 2014 by Jeff Shepard

Mean Well Enterprise Co. Ltd. has unveiled the EDR-120 and NDR-120, with the 120W rated power, and EDR-150, with the power up to 156W. Adopting the same enclosure design with 40mm width, EDR-120, NDR-120 and EDR-150 are able to be installed on DIN rail TS-35/7.5 or TS-35/15. They are designed to supply power for the cabinets with a limited width. These three series accepts the full range of 90- to 264-Vac input. On the output end, EDR-120 and NDR-120 offer three different dc voltage, 12V, 24V and 48V, while the EDR-150 is offered with a 24V output.

These three series are designed without the need for a built-in fan. With operating efficiency up to 88.5%(EDR-120), 87%(EDR-150) and 89% (NDR-120) these power supplies operate with convection cooling from -20 to +60 degrees C (EDR-120 and EDR-150) and -20 to +70 degrees C (NDR-120). Other functions include short circuit protection, overload protection (constant current limiting output), over voltage protection, over temperature protection, and front panel dc output voltage adjustment.

These three series are certified with UL/CUL/TUV/CB/CE safety regulations and meet the EN61000-6-2, EMS (Electro Magnetic Susceptibility) standard. These power supplies and meet EN55022 Class A (EDR-120 and EDR-150) and Class B (NDR-120) EMI standards Applications are expected to include industrial control systems, semiconductor fabrication equipment, factory automation, electro-mechanical apparatus, and so on.
