Shengxin Capacitor Intros MPC Series Capacitors

Shenzhen Shengxin Capacitor Co. Ltd. (Shenzhen, China) announced the new MPC Series of polypropylene film capacitors, which can withstand 1.4 times their rated voltage for 5s and are screened for operation over the -55°C to +85°C temperature range. The capacitors are suitable for filtering, suppressing noise, bypassing, and coupling dc and VHF signals.

The components feature a metallized polypropylene film encapsulated in a reinforced, flame-retardant plastic case and sealed with UL 94V-0-rated epoxy resin. Capacitance values ranges from 1nF to 2.2µF (100Vdc and 250Vdc), 1nF to 1µF (400Vdc) and 1nF to 0.47µF (630Vdc) with ±5 percent or ±10 percent tolerance. Insulation resistance is at least 25 gigaohms if the capacitance is 0.33µF. The capacitors range in size from 10.5mm x 9mm x 4mm to 32mm x 23mm x 13mm.
