Shanghai Unveils PX-B/C/D/E/F/G Lithium-Ion Batteries

Shanghai Optical Communications Corp. (China) introduced its new PX-B/C/D/E/F/G lithium-ion batteries, which are sealed with soft aluminum-laminated materials and offer a high nominal voltage that is up to three times that of NiCd and NiMH batteries. The batteries also provide high energy density and safe usage.

The batteries can be employed in mobile communications devices, laptop computers, cameras, toys, PDAs, scanners and industrial UPS systems, among other applications.

The devices feature dimensions that range from 48mm x 34mm x 1.2mm to 103mm x 103mm x 5.8mm, and that weigh from 3.5g to 121g.
