SFC Smart Fuel Cell Launches Cell for Power Generation of Off-Grid Industrial Applications
SFC Smart Fuel Cell AG announced the launch of the new EFOY Pro 2200 XT fuel cell for power generation of off-grid industrial applications. The EFOY Pro 2200 XT is specifically developed for demanding needs of professional users and provides week-long reliable energy to traffic management systems, traffic and security cameras to measurement and early warning sensors. As addition to the existing EFOY Pro product portfolio the EFOY Pro 2200 XT fuel cell offers 50% more energy capacity than the EFOY Pro 2200. According to the company, a decisive advantage for industry customers as it guarantees longer autonomy of the particular off-grid application. In comparison to the EFOY Pro 2200 it is said to reduce the costs per kilowatt hour during the guaranteed runtime by 15%. A further advantage for users as it can reduce the total cost of ownership of the off-grid application dramatically.
"With the new EFOY Pro 2200 XT fuel cell we are meeting the growing demands of our industry customers for longer guaranteed off-grid power supply", said Dr. Peter Podesser, CEO of SFC Smart Fuel Cell AG. "The EFOY Pro 2200 XT takes this into account, complements our existing product mix very well and beyond that, it reduces specific energy cost per kilowatt hour".
The EFOY Pro Series is available throughout Europe in four models – EFOY Pro 600, EFOY Pro 1600, EFOY Pro 2200 und EFOY Pro 2200 XT. The mobile and environmentally friendly power generators obtain their fuel from EFOY fuel cartridges, which deliver week-long autonomous energy, depending on their size (5, 10, 28 liters).
