RoHS 5W Targeted at Medical Users by V-Infinity

V-Infinity introduces a new series of RoHS compliant, low cost, 5W open-frame power supplies designed for a wide range of medical applications. Carrying UL60601-1 and EN60601-1 medical approvals, the VOFM-5 series is compact, measuring 2.17 x 1.38 x 0.87 inches. All models accept a universal 85 to 264 V ac input range and offer an efficiency of 77% in the 24 V version.

The units have 0.5 percent line regulation and 1 percent load regulation from 10 percent load to full load. Ripple and noise are limited to 1 percent, peak-to-peak. Voltage outputs range from 3.3 to 24.0 Vdc in 7 different single-output models. The power supply is convection cooled and operates at full load from 0 to +70 °C.

Features include short circuit protection and an input-to-output isolation of 6,565 Vdc. Conductive EMI meets CISPR/FCC class B standards. OEM pricing starts at $10.50 per unit.
