Protek Power Announces New 42W Medical & ITE Power Supplies

Protek Power North America announced its new PM42 Series of ac-dc power supplies which offers 30-48W of performance packed design and compliance to both EN60101-1 medical safety standards and EN60950-1 ITE safety standards. They are well suited for a variety of applications, including patient vicinity medical devices, dental electronics, and laboratory equipment, as well as commercial process control, communications, and instrumentation applications.

The PM42 Series accepts a 90-264Vac universal input. Single, dual, and triple output models have voltages ranging from 5 to 48Vdc. The compact 2 x 4 x 1.18" footprint makes the PM42 Series an ideal choice for designs with critical space constraints.

The Series boasts efficiencies to 88%, leakage current of 150µA maximum at 264Vac, and 4000Vdc input-ground withstand voltage.

Comprehensive protection circuitry, including overvoltage and short circuit protection, is inherent in the design. EMC Performance meets Level B standards and units have an MTBF of 400,000 hours at full load.

Units are economically priced, starting at $17.25 in OEM quantity, with delivery from stock to 8 weeks ARO.
