Power-One Introduces New 2” x 4” Footprint, 30-Watt Power Supply

Power-One, Inc. introduced the BLP30-3000G power supply. This ac-dc product provides substantial 30W, 2" x 4" footprint currents: +5V @ 3.5A (5A peak), +12Vdc @ 2A, and -12Vdc @ 0.5A. The BLP30-3000G is an appropriate power source for a myriad of space-constrained, 1U-high applications including: data networking, medical instrumentation, POS terminals, and external disk storage.

The BLP30-3000G is RoHS compliant for all six substances, meets EMI Class B, operates over a wide 90 to 264Vac input range, and provides short-circuit and overvoltage protection. Up to 30W of power is available with only 10 CFM cooling; 25W with convection cooling. Extremely low-profile component heights reduce airflow shadowing to increase cooling for downstream devices.

Pricing is $24 each in quantities of 100. Evaluation models are usually available from stock. Production quantities are typically available in six to eight weeks. The BLP30 Series also offers three single-output models providing 5, 12, and 24V.
