Positronic Releases Input Power Connector with Screw Terminals for Field Installation

Postironic introduced its PCS series of power connectors for applications requiring a quick disconnect, high power connector. The PCS three contact variant is now available with screw terminals, allowing field termination with the use of a screw driver. Crimping tools are not required.

The connector has three size 12 contacts. Contacts manufactured with standard materials have a current rating of 40A and a contact resistance of 0.001Ω. High conductivity contacts are available with a current rating of 55A and a contact resistance of 0.00037Ω.

Contacts are spaced ideally for use as an ac or dc input power connector. Sequential mating contacts are offered, allowing for first mate ground options.

Mating connector contact terminations are available in right angle and straight PCB mount, and also crimp contact options. A wide variety of accessories is available, including an integral quick connect/disconnect locking system.
