New Products Jun 30, 2002 by Jeff Shepard

Ningxia Xingri Electronics Co. Ltd. (China) introduced the new CA45 Series tantalum chip capacitors, which are suitable for use in telecommunications equipment, PCs and surface-mount circuits. The capacitors are shipped in sizes ranging from 2mm x 1.2mm x 1.2mm to 7.3mm x 4.3mm x 4mm, and meet EIA-535BAAC specification.

The devices are rated for operation from -55 to +125 degrees C and feature capacitance values from 0.1µF to 470µF with ±10 percent or ±20 percent tolerance. The capacitors are also available with rated voltages of 4V, 6.3V, 10V, 16V, 20V, 25V, 35V and 50V. At >85 degrees C, corresponding derating voltages are 2.5V, 4V, 6.3V, 10V, 13V, 16V, 23V and 33V. At 20 degrees C, the dc leakage current is placed at <0.01CRUR or <0.5µA (whichever is greater).
