NewerTech and OWC Unveil NuPower Ti Li-Ion Battery

Newer Technology Inc. (NewerTech) and Other World Computing (OWC) introduced its new NuPower Ti 4,800 mAH battery, which is compatible with all 15 in G4 Titanium PowerBooks with processor speeds between 400 MHz and 1 GHz.
The lithium-ion (Li-Ion) battery offers 71 Wh of life, according to the companies, which is 42% more capacity than the battery that shipped with 400 MHz and 500 MHz PowerBooks; 28% more than the one that came with 550 MHz, 667 MHz and 800 MHz models; and 16% more than the one that was included in 867 MHz and 1 GHz laptops.
The NuPower Ti 4,800 mAH is available now for $149.99.
