Tumbler Technologies, Inc. + TRUMPower has released its new TMPC-400-1U, a 400W ac-dc power supply meeting 1U height constraints. The 1U ATX PC ac-dc power supply comes in a size of just 220 mm x 100 mm x 40.5 mm and is furnished with over voltage and over load protections.
The TMPC-400-1U ac-dc power supply meets the latest 3.1 edition of UL/IEC/EN 60601-1 medical safety standards and has a maximum earth leakage current of 150μA at 264Vac 63Hz, making it suitable for areas of patient care.
The power supply is capable of operating at a temperature range between 0°C and +60°C and a high operating altitude of 5,000 meters maximum. The 400W rated power supply is equipped with a universal input range of 90- to 264-Vac and dc voltage outputs and maximum loads of +3.3V/18A, +5V/18A, triple +12V/16A (18A peak), -5V/0.2A, -12V/0.5A, and +5Vsb/3A respectively.
Its maximum overall output is 400W, with +3.3V and +5V providing a combined maximum load of 100W. The combined maximum load for +12V1, +12V2, +12V3 must not exceed 32A. The only minimum load required for the power supply is 0.1A for +12V3.
With an active efficiency of 87% minimum at full load, the power supply qualifies for 80 PLUS Gold energy efficiency and it also complies with ATX12V and EPS 1U 2.0 standards. To further support energy efficiency, the power supply is capable of being equipped to meet Intel’s Haswell power requirements. Withstand voltage is 4,000Vac between input to output (2MOPP) and 1,500 VAC between input to PE (1MOPP). The highly reliable power supply is capable of over 138,200 hours MTBF at full load at 25°C ambient per MIL-HDBK-217.
The TMPC-400-1U is certified to the latest medical standards, including UL/IEC/EN 60601-1 (Edition 3.1), ANSI/AAMI ES 60601-1:2012, and CSA C22.2 No. 60601-1:2014. The power supply complies with IEC/EN 60601-1-2 4th edition medical EMC and immunity standards including EN 55011, CISPR11/FCC, VCCI class B (conducted and radiated emissions), EN 61000-3-3, EN 61000-4-2, EN61000-4-3, EN 61000-4-4, EN 61000-4-5, EN 61000-4-6, EN 61000-4-8, and EN 61000-4-11.
