Mean Well Introduces New Series of 96 to 185W LED Power Supplies

Mean Well introduced four new series of high IP level LED power supplies: HLG-100/HLG-100H (96W), HLG-120/HLG-120H (120W), HLG-150/HLG-150H (150W), and HLG-185/HLG-185H (185W). With built-in active PFC function, the HLG-100H/120H/150H/185H series feature a 90~305Vac wide range ac input and the HLG-100/120/150/185 have a 90~264Vac range.

Not only meeting the harmonic current limitation per EN61000-3-2 Class C, they also fulfill PF>0.9 if loading over 50~60% and possess 4KV surge immunity (EN61000-4-5) ability which complies with the requirements of street lighting. In addition, these power units are fully potted by heat-dissipating glue, so they can reach IP 65 or IP67 waterproof/dustproof level. In the meantime, users can adjust dc output voltage range from 90% to 110% and current range from 50% to 100% by removing the rubber stopper on the cover. In order to fit in with the outdoor harsh environment, full-aluminum case and stainless screws are designed in these new power supplies.

With up-to date LLC and synchronize rectify technology, these four series posses up to 94% of high efficiency, so they can be cooled by free air convection from -30 to +70° ambient temperature and meet the requirements of outdoor installation. Beside standard functions of protections for short circuit, over voltage, overload, and over temperature, these power units equip with 1~10Vdc, PWM, and resistance as "three in one dimming function" in B-type models and offer system designers great flexibility of designing luminaries with energy saving and brightness reduction alternative. These power supplies are very suitable for LED street lighting, LED spotlight, outdoor electric display, LED decorative lighting, indoor/outdoor LED lighting…etc. The units comply with global certificates per UL/CUL/TUV/CB/CE including UL8750, EN61347-1, EN61347-2-13 of lighting regulations.
