Mean Well Extends 1U Power Supply Offering with 500W Units

Mean Well Enterprises Co., Ltd. has introduced a new series of 500W low-profile enclosed ac-dc power supplies with single output and PFC function, the RSP-500 series. Mean Well’s RSP line of power supplies now includes wattages of 75W, 100W, 150W, 200W, 320W, 500W and 750W. By reducing the length of original SP-480 series, RSP-500 series are 22.1% smaller in size and up to 8% higher in working efficiency compare to the corresponding models. The -30 to +70 degrees C operating temperature range is even wider than the -20 +60 degrees C range of SP-480 series. Featuring a 1U low profile (40.5mm), RSP-500 series are especially suitable for end users who are looking for low-cost power supplies with energy-saving and low-profile installation features.

With an input voltage range of 85- to 264-Vac, RSP-500 series power supplies can provide output voltages from 3.3- to 48-Vdc. The units are equipped with active power factor correction and possess up to 90.5% efficiency. Cooling is supplied by a long life dc fan enabling operation from -30 to +50 degrees C ambient temperature under full load condition, and up to +70 degrees C by suitable derating. Other built-in functions include remote sense, remote ON/OFF control, and fan speed control, as well as protection for short circuit, overload, over voltage and over temperature.

All series comply with UL, CUL, TUV, CB, and CE regulations that can greatly guarantee your safety.
