Matsushita Electronic Components Co. Ltd. (Japan) announced the new E12 Series of thick-film chip resistors, which offer a resistance range of 10 milliohms to 10 kiloohms, enabling them to be used in a wide range of applications such as dc/dc inverter circuits, engine-control units and air-bag systems.
The 1W devices feature convex and concave terminals for a stable solder junction, and have a rated continuous working voltage of 200V and a maximum overload voltage of 400V. Measuring 6.4mm x 3.2mm, the chip resistors operate at a temperature range of -55 to +155 degrees C.
