Luxon Electronics Debuts LU Series Capacitors

Luxon Electronics Corp. (Taiwan) announced its new LU Series of aluminum electrolytic capacitors, which are designed for use in A/V devices, PC monitors, and voltage converters and inverters, as well as switch-mode power supplies. Available in dimensions of 4(ø) x 7mm to 16(ø) x 32mm, the capacitors have capacitance values between 5.6µF to 6.8mF with a tolerance of ±20 percent and voltage ratings of 6.3Vdc, 10Vdc, 6Vdc, 25Vdc, 35Vdc, 50Vdc, 63Vdc and 100Vdc. The devices have a dissipation factor of at least 0.08 and are screened for operation over the -40°C to +105°C. Lifespan is up to 5,000h.
