LTC Unveils LTC2904/05/06/07 Supply Monitors

Linear Technology Corp. (LTC, Milpitas, CA) introduced the LTC2904/LTC2905 and the LTC2906/LTC2907, space-saving, dual supply monitors. The LTC2904/LTC2905 feature nine combinations of input threshold levels, while the LTC2906/LTC2907 provide one input that is adjustable to as low as 0.5 V and another with three possible voltage selections.

All of the ICs offer a selectable supply tolerance of 5 percent, 7.5 percent and 10 percent, allowing for possible margining. The threshold and tolerance levels are chosen by three-state input pins and do not require any external components. The simple three-state selection provides a diverse choice of voltage thresholds and tolerances, eliminating the need to qualify, source and stock different part numbers for different combinations of input supplies.

Prices for the LTC2904/LTC2905 and LTC2906/LTC2907 begin at $1.35 each in 1,000-piece quantities. The ICs are specified over the commercial and industrial temperature ranges.
