IFR Systems Debuts Kikusui PAS Series Power Supplies

IFR Systems Inc. (Wichita, KS) announced its new Kikusui PAS Series of regulated ac/dc power supplies, available in 15 models for 350W, 700W and 1,000W service. The general-purpose 0V to 10V, 20V, 40V, 60V and 80V units, which update the Kikusui PAK-A Series, feature 0.98 power-factor correction, improved operability (multifunction dial) and a high-brightness, four-digit display. The compact units measure from just 2.5in x 5in for the 350W models to 8.25in x 5in for the 1,000W models.

The universal-input (100Vac to 240Vac) supplies accommodate parallel (current expansion) and series (voltage expansion) connection for master-slave applications. Two units can be connected in series, and up to five 350W modules can be connected in parallel.

The PAS Series 350W models are priced from $982 to $1,250; the series 700W models from $1,607 to $2,389; and the series 1,000W models from $2,232 to $2,857. All power supplies carry a five-year warranty and are available from IFR in one to six weeks ARO.
