GlobTek Intros New Module Series Power Supplies

GlobTek Inc. (Northvale, NJ) introduced a new large family of open-frame, PCB-mount-style, 100W, multi-output, switching power supplies that feature single-, dual-, triple- and triple-low output voltages from 3.3V to 48V in 0.1V increments and a single-platform design.

The new modules feature a high efficiency of 85 percent typical, integral multi-fold heatsink natural convection cooling, and measure 5.15in x 2.75in x 1.50in. The triple-low model features +3.3V at 3A, +5V at 3A and +12V at 6A; a universal input of 90Vac to 264Vac or 36Vdc to 72Vdc; regulated outputs with low ripple; Class B EMI filters; power-factor correction; and built-in over-current, soft-control, over-voltage and over-temperature protection features.

The new series meets safety agency requirements for UL60950 and UL2601, and is CE-compliant for grounded and nongrounded applications.
