Fully-Shielded IPx7-Rated Connectors with Cables

Chogori Technology has introduced straight M12 fully-shielded connectors with cables as part of their growing sensor connector offering. For reliable data transmission and protection against EMC, these connectors feature 360 degrees of shielding. They are available with 3, 4, 5, and 8 contact designs. The 3 and 4 contact designs are rated for 250V and 4A, the 5 contact designs are rated for 60V and 4A while the 8 contact design is rated for 30V and 2A.

The connectors also provide stable connections as a result of the male coupling design that provides un-mating resistance during vibration and shock. Offered in single-ended or double-ended assemblies these connector/cable assemblies are over-molded, with IPx7 protection suitable for harsh industrial environments.

Product codes include “A code” for sensors/actuators is offered with 3, 4, 5 and 8 pin configurations, “B code” for Profibus is a 5-pin configuration and “D code” for Profinet is a 4-pin configuration. These connectors have a rated life of 100 mating cycles and an operating temperature range of -25 to +80 degrees C. They are designed in accordance with IEC61075-2-101.
