FDK Presents W Series DC-DC Converters

FDK Corp. (Japan) announced its W Series of non-isolated, point-of-load, dc-dc converters, which is comprised of 72 models and has an electric power efficiency of up to 95 percent. Based on the company's Computer Aided Engineering and fine printing technology, the product features a voltage input of 10 V to 14 V; output voltages of 0.9 V, 1 V, 1.2 V, 1.5 V, 1.8 V, 2 V, 2.5 V, 3.3 V and 5 V; and current outputs of 5 A, 10 A, 15 A and 20 A.

Available in SIP and SMT types, the converters are designed to suit various power supply systems such as servers, desktop PCs and communication apparatuses. Rated for operation between the -40 °C to +85 °C temperature range, the devices are offered in measurements of 22.8 mm x 10.2 mm x 5.5 mm, 20.3 mm x 11.5 mm x 6.3 mm, 50.8 mm x 12.7 mm x 8.3 mm, and 33 mm x 13.4 mm x 8.2 mm.

Pricing is $15 for the 5 A parts, $23 for the 10 A parts, $27 for the 15 A parts and $30 for the 20 A parts.
