Electronic Concepts Offers 5MPA Series Capacitors

Electronic Concepts Inc. (Eatontown, NJ) announced its 5MPA, UL-approved, dry-film, ac capacitor that is suitable for pulse-width modulated outputs, to handle current spectrums from both line frequency to superimposed ripple on the carrier wave.

With good current distribution, unique terminations for a wide frequency response, and low electrical and thermal impedance, the 5MPA Series offers an operation temperature of +85 °C, current handling to 83.2 ARMS, dry construction, a low 0.1 percent dissipation factor, and a voltage of 530 Vdc.
